This really is an RPG that I didn't know I needed. When I first played the game, I was instantly reminded of "Lost Dimension" and how similar the battle system is, only this time it's now set on a high school with a Persona-like story about Egos, Daemons, and Pactbearers. If you are familiar with that game, then I am sure that you would be most familiar with this one too.
The story is an interesting one. It is not a story that you'd want to take home and place on a golden pedestal but it's one that you'd appreciate the inner workings of the game and the set-ups and payoffs that it will eventually reveal to you as you progress through the story.
Gameplay-wise, it is very grindy. If you do not like grindy games then I can see you not enjoying the game. The puzzles are sometimes obtuse and though it was satisfying to figure out some puzzles, most of the time I would refer to a walkthrough instead. That being said, the battle mechanics are similar to that of Lost Dimension with an emphasis on positioning, MADness management, and your usual Referal shenanigans. If you are into turn-based tactics such as Fire Emblem, you could say that it also has somewhat the same concept as Monark.
Finally, the animations of the game are more or less outdated. Though the delivery of the lines is fine in it itself, the animations drag sometimes, not to mention that it will lag in the latter half of the game as you near the end game.
Overall, even though this game has problems, it is still a fun experience and if you are a fan of this niche genre of RPGs then I can suggest this game to you with confidence.
