It was very informative and entertaining. In fact, this documentary was part of the required reading materials for my Sociology course in university in Canada. I learned so much about music as well as myself (my Father being Cree). The history lesson you receive from the music in this film is unattainable anywhere else, due to decades of research on the music that all derived from our indigenous ancestors.
