One of my all time favourites!

I’m so sad this never got another season - the amount of times I think about this series is insane! Redo it if you need too, just finish it 😩 pleeeasseee!

I’m a huge Amy Sherman-Palladino fan and I’ve got to episode 5 and lost all interest. I feel like I’m forcing myself to watch it out of respect for her previous work. Gilmore girls and the marvelous Mrs maisel, absolutely outstanding pieces of work! With the final seasons of both being a little bit of a let down for me personally but that’s another story. (And yes I know she didn’t do the final season of Gilmore girls) I’m a huge fan of dance as well and used to dance myself. So an Amy Sherman-Palladino series about dance I thought for sure would take over as potentially my favourite series of all time. And I’m just disappointed. I can’t connect with any of the characters, the story is lacking meaning, the dancing isn’t that great either there’s just not enough of it. The actors are good apart from a select few. It’s just different. It’s not funny at all, I don’t think I’ve laughed once watching it which is odd for her writing? And Its just a bit of a boring watch. You win some you loose some I guess, this one isn’t for me. Might re watch Mrs Maisel though ! Highly recommend

Love love loved it ! Favourite Disney film in a long time ! So many different little snapshots of other Disney films - such a good feel good film, really funny and loved the animation style - highly recommend for any Disney fan 🥰

Couldn’t even make it through the second episode .. had to turn it off. It’s just awful. Just really awful. Terrible script.. terrible acting.. honestly, my partner and I thought it wasn’t good enough to keep watching - actually the first time I’ve done this with a series too.

Thought it was an amazing film, really well done, very moving. Highly, highly recommend

I love the hunger games books and original movies but I’d happily leave this one out and wait for a decent remake… snows character is probably the only decent one but even then we don’t get the full story as you do in the book so it’s hard to connect with him in the film. It lacks.. anything and doesn’t explain his character development … this was supposed to focus on him, and ultimately ended up being more focussed on Lucy gray which was just .. confusing. It’s a shame I was really looking forward to it. Far too much singing … and I love a good musical but it wasn’t needed this much in the film. We really needed more.. I also hated the way they played the characters of the school… it seemed like it was made for a teen audience and that was it. Also the main girl in the games that was leader .. was just awful 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll stick with the first films 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Not sure why the critics seem to hate it, but I thought it was the best animation film I’ve watched in a long time. Nostalgia, great comedy, and all the Mario bros entertainment you can ask for in an hour and a half - I really thought it was great 😁😁
