Oobis are like hand creatures. There's an interesting (and completely made-up) story that I used to tell about the Oobis... here goes... the Oobis hated the googly eyed toes on their masters' bodies (the Doobies) and while the masters slept, these two factions would have vicious fights upon their bodies. It finally took the interventions of the belly buttons to "lay down the law" in behavioral contracts which became known as the "Oobi-Doobi" Doo... which was sang in a very Frank Sinatra motive.
