Just after Christmas I purchased The Secret. I have enjoyed many of the Reacher books but this isn't one of them. I found it dull, confusing and lacking direction which has never normally been the case with Reacher. Even Reacher seems to slip into the background and, frankly, the two sister "villains" are the centre of interest. Usually Reacher books are where you just want to turn one more page but not with The Secret. Some may have other views but I found it drifting like a rudderless boat and, in all honesty, boring. I'm sure Lee Child will make money out of this one but I'm glad I used a gift card not real cash.
