It’s about dysfunctional family dynamics and the effects on adults who experienced abuse as kids, but also it’s about superheroes. You'd expect it to be too dark but it's not, it's fairly hopeful and upbeat despite the subject matter. You end up rooting for this weird little group of siblings. One of the best shows I’ve seen in years. Really creative, great use of music, fantastic characters. (I've yet to see someone who doesn't relate to at least one of the siblings). LGBT representation which isn't made A Thing, but is just part of the story. Some phenomenal performances. Really really funny but will also make you cry. I can’t recommend this show enough.
