I was hooked on this story from just reading the prolog. It's so interesting to see how Beth Carver ended up a "gun fighter" by pure circumstance. This novel not only has the feelings of a woman's heart but also the actions of rude and callous men. I did enjoy the surprising and unexpected twists along with this action packed western. I enjoyed it from start to finish and am certainly looking forward to book #2 in the trilogy! Keep them coming.
