First of all as Long Islander I loved all the nostalgia of the 70's. Ben Affleck was excellent as the storyteller of the movie.The movie depicts the struggle of a boy growing up without his father but thankfully his uncle steps in and guides him through his adolescence and encourages him to follow his dream.
