Coronation Street has lost its appeal. The writers are making it too Americanized and some of the story lines are just rubbish. What happened to the down to earth normal street life???? Yes I realize that times and people change, but the writers are actually harming Coronation Street. I have watched Corrie for 42 years, and last night watching an episode, I turned it off, (Ray drugging Abbi) why?????? It doesn't add anything to the story...it just creates a vicious circle that is predictable... Find some better writers........think of some new stories, get back to the basics....
