Laura Dae

The movie was visually stunning at every turn and Hogwarts made me squeal with joy. Now for my gripes...I know this is just the second in a five movie franchise, but I really wanted more main plot instead of multiple sub-plots which held no meaning for me at all. The romance sub-plots are mostly unnecessary. I would rather the movie focus on the plot and the magical beasts...romance slows it down. Newt and Tina....I really don't like them together as a couple..sorry. I know it's canon that they end up married, but to me, their characters are totally mismatched and unbelievable.... If I am to watch the other three movies I'll just have to ignore their relationship..just like I did with Ron and Hermione. Leta Lestrange was a great character, but sadly used as a plot device to further along another character's development. Leta and Grindelwald were the best characters.
