Went in with high expectations and was let down. Firstly the movie's runtime is way too long. With editing out 1 hour they could've finished the movie in 1½ hour and the plot wouldn't have changed. You aren't titanic, wrap it up. Too many subplots that have zero importance.
Tries to be so many things at once.. a western film, comedy, horror, drama. When in reality it was a B grade horror. Start acting like it's a b grade horror, it is working out amazingly for blumhouse.
Biggest plothole out of convenience was (spoilers) the vampires only targeting the main leads because they wanted the sammie guy to sing for them.
Wouldn't the entire point of vampires would be to turn as many people as possible, even the people in the town. But those people are seemingly safe except the people in the Michael b Jordan juke club.
Would I suggest watching it? Yes, when it comes on some streaming platform.
