I was pleasantly surprised that the plot of this movie didn't develop along the lines of a fearless teenage Nikita-Rambo in high school. Instead, the main character is believable as a teenager who shows grit and courage even though gripped with fear. Although the terminology varies in the active shooter consulting world, most are now proposing--and schools are adopting--responses something like the Run-Hide-Fight sequence.
