lets just say that I hate bashing movies or shows because I know that many people worked really hard on it but I just have to say meh the whole thing was meh when i watched the trailer it honestly looked amazing i was so excited to watch it and let me just say I was dissapointed the ending felt rushed and I wished that they went into more detail about everything I felt like the whole movie was rushed into a short amount of time when i felt it needed more time to grow the plot and give more needed detail the acting was good I would just blame the writters or directors the movie wasnt bad dont get me wrong but it also wasnt good either it is just kinda there probably not a movie that I would watch again but If I had to I wouldnt be really upset about it.

I have not read any of the books so I cant compare that but I can only say that this show has quickly became one of my favorite shows ever I have not one complaint about the show I am quite partial to the show though only because I would absolutely love to live back then and go to balls and dances and have nice houses etc minus all the racial diversity and gender inequality lol but the show had almost something magical about it I hope that this comes back for a second season and more after that

I personally am not a very picky person and I have not read the book but when I saw the trailer I thought this movie was going to be amazing and I was so excited and I personally dont like rating books or movies because I know a lot of people put in a lot of effort and time into it but I am very sorry but I hated this movie the only thing I liked about it was looking at the garden because it was so magical but other than that I didnt like it one bit it was so boring I was practically falling asleep the whole time and I go to bed at like 5 am and I started watching it at 10 so I was not very tired but I could barely keep my eyes open I definetly do not recommend watching this I'm sure some people will like it but I definetly was not one of them.
