Leila on Netflix is a wonderful reflection of our times. The rise of rabid nationalism and bigotry not only in India but other parts of the world is a cause for real concern. Caste, male dominance, looking down upon mixed parentage kids, purity of race, treating women as cattle or even worse etc is exactly what may happen if such governments are allowed to function with impunity. We all need a free, secular and equal society.

Poor ending.. Cant understand this madness to evolve into some strange life form. If feelings and emotions are not there, we might as well not be born at all in the first place

Good film..the eerie countryside and forest atmosphere is captured really well. Feel sorry for the main character who turns into a werewolf at the end, but thats my personal feeling anyway
