I’m basing this review on the fact that I read the book that this was supposedly “based” on. If you are someone that actually read the book and we’re hoping to see a series based on that, don’t waste your time. There is absolutely nothing in this that is like the book except the opioid epidemic. Disappointing. This could have been so much better. Beth Macy’s writing deserved better.
