Sorry to say but this book is boring. I’m struggling trying to make it pass book one in the series. I’m listening to it on audio and the way the person reading it made it even worse

This book is slightly better than book one. However, why the writer is so intended of promoting a teenager and a teacher getting involved, and why she always lusting after some guy? Why they have her basically messing with 3 guys??

I am currently listening to this book and one thing that’s really turning me off is the constant references to “People of faith.” The author seems to be trying to make a smart negative image of us. I am not sure how I really feel about this practice. While I understand the book is a vampire book, why is this constant reference being made throughout the work?
