A movie which made me cringe with guilt. Women working in the house has been so normalised that it seems unnatural to accept that they have dreams too. Patriarchy and relegion goes hand in hand be it Hinduism, Islam or Christianity all the accepted relegious texts have patriarchy imbued into it. This movie does is not an attack on just Hinduism but patriarchy and as the most commonly practiced relegion in India it has to be brought under questioning as to weather it improves life all together or just benefits a certain group of people.
A movie that all the men in india should watch and understand that the women who comes to your house after marriage is not an object or a robot to listen to your senseless and irrational systems and beliefs and obey accordingly. If this 90 minutes movie seems repetetive and monotous to you then just remember that it is the life of our fellow women.
