I normally do not watch TV...or any kind of movie. I am not familure with any of the actors/actreses.
I understand the slow beginning of the show as characters need to be established. Just as in books, building character of a person of interest is important for the reader to better understand/connect with the characters of the story. How do we think this person will react? Why would we think they would react a certain way.
I strongly feel every course of action by a person is reflective of their personal history of experience. If a child is unreasonable placed in unbearable hardships, we can better understand deviant actions, no matter how inexcusable. We can connect with the human side.
However, when a child is placed in a nurturing home, taught correctly yet still is consumed with greed we can still find compassion within the parent without excusing them for loving their children blindly. Fearful if they pry a little deeper, they may find a monster within, and not sure how to deal with that dark side of their children.
This series is truly one of my favorite watched since the pandemic. The scenery is breathtaking. The effects are very believable.
The story of the battling princess is epic.
Superb acting on all parts.
Excellent play on human emotion. Skillful writing to draw in the audiance.
Congratulations!
I look forward to a possible season 2 to hit the states.
