I've never posted a review before, but I felt the need to express how tragically abhorrent this movie was. I caught myself checking to see how much time was left throughout the entire movie I wanted it to be over so badly.
The trailer looked phenomenal. Great plot in theory, while also providing great insight on the injustices and discrimination our black war heroes faced in that time.
That being said, there were so many holes in the plot.. For starters these are old men: in their flashbacks to Vietnam they are the exact same age. But their buddy Norman- played by Chadwick Boseman- is at least 35 years younger than them (who is really supposed to be the same age as them.) I could go on and on, but long story short I get what they're trying to do and I respect that, but you couldn't pay me to watch this movie again.
