SEE is a breath taking show!!!! Taking place in the future where a virus wiped out most of humanity and the ones that survived were blind and it carried on for generations. At first glance I never would have given this show a second thought because it’s not your ordinary ‘appealing to the eye’ type of show for in my opinion. At first glance I would have thought this show to be boring and unrealistic. Who wants to watch people in the woods who can’t see? I am here to say, the joke was on me!!!!! Not only are the shows aesthetics outstanding , but the acting is Phenomenal! The way Jason Momoa portrays the role of Baba Voss a beast of a man, with no sight. Loyal, loving, devoted, but not to be played with! He takes on the role of the father to his wife (Maghra) twins Koffun and Haniwa who happen to be born with SIGHT which is later revealed that the biological father of the twins fathered quite a bit of sighted children over the years (the father also being sighted). This show is a story of conviction, a story of how gritty and wicked the world is with or without sight! Unity is a delusion, no matter the circumstance in this dystopian drama series! Outstanding performances by Alfre Woodard who plays the role of the caregiver to the twins and has psychic abilities. The story line was impeccably written! This show will have you on the edge of your seat, heart beating out of your chest, and wanting to somehow get into the TV to scream at them or with them! One of the best shows I’ve watched in quite some time! A must SEE!!!
