I really like The Orville. It's as good as Star Trek but has some humor. I thought it would be like the old Space Balls when I first heard about it, given that Seth McFarlane is behind it, but it's not. The stories are actually intelligent, deal with space and the inhabited worlds throughout and stories about the crew. Now and then there is some silly humor, but it's usually really appropriate. Give this show a try.
