I laughed a lot during this movie. It’s kind of like a Halmark movie but better. A bit predictable, but better writing and acting. I found it entertaining and still enjoy a light-hearted movie (when I’m not watching Zombie flicks). Not everything has to be shocking, gritty, and gratuitous to be good. I’m kinda getting sick of shows like that. It’s nice to sit down and be able to watch something with your family worry free. It’d give it a 3.5 if I could.

I really enjoyed it. Not nearly as cheesy as the Halmark Style romances, but not so gritty that it’s difficult to watch as so many are these days. I liked the storylines and the characters. They were both flawed which made it relatable. This one will definitely get watched again. (Cassie’s voice kind of drove me nuts though…lol)

I’m not done season 1 yet but I’m enjoying it. The only reason I only did 4 stars was the storyline is a bit weak for me. It could have been better, grittier.
