The stories are good. The editing is horrible. Literally could have made it so the first 2 episodes are the origin instead of the flashbacks. Like I know what they were trying to do it just didn’t work well. The current time scenes felt disconnected and sometimes plots are left hanging. The utopian is flawed and annoying. A himbo with daddy issues and can’t understand other people. There are so many topics that could be explored too like how horrible of a father he was to his kids because one of them is a frequent drug user. That doesn’t just happen over night. I do like the story just the editing isn’t the best. I did research about he creator and he has worked on good stuff just this isn’t like those. He edited this during the quarantine in his Glasgow home. TLDR: good plot, no good editing with the time jumps. Takes awhile to remember what is happening. The character could use more flushing out and the utopian is a flawed character that they try to make complicated. He is just an old man from 1929 living in the present.
