I agree with Maha Khatib 100%. I first thought I was the only one, but alhamdulilah I'm not. It's amazing how 97% found this useful. I understand that man's needs must be met, but so should women's needs, and independency. The historical leading Muslim women in Islam are good examples of women's independence and needs. I stopped reading the book the minute I realised all of this. It's got nothing to do with women and what we need. It's more about the men and what they need. Obey and you will be happy. Obeying Allah swt yes!
