Iโm glad I seen this whilst in Bali as it only cost me about $8 of my hard earned. Aside from the main characters the acting lacked anything remotely believable the plot boarded on ridiculous, there was a landslide of corny and cringeworthy moments with an apparent lack of any regard for common sense or detail to support the direction of events. Much of this film was just unbelievable dribble.
Good cinematography but any clown can produce that now with a decent budget to work with. George Miller robbed Mad Max fans of what they had been waiting for for so long when he did Fury Road, he robbed them of an actual Mad Max film when he made a movie about someone else with a guy named Max in it a little bit here and there as well. It felt like Tom Hardy had about 5 lines of dialogue in FR and he has managed to do it again this time giving us another movie about a character real Mad Max fans could not give two rats about. We want Max back and we want the movie to be about Max and not somebody else completely like this and Fury Road are. We waited long enough between the original trilogy and the latest versions and you gave us rubbish. Donโt call it a Mad Max Saga cause this ainโt Star Wars my friend. Get back on track George or dont waste our time. Donโt get me wrong FR wasnโt a bad flick but it certainly did not have Max as the main storyline and after such a long wait that was a real slap in the face. But Furiosa doesnโt tick any boxes for me at all. If it was seperate to Mad Max and stood on its own two feet it still wouldnโt cut if because itโs just a bad flick. It almost felt like George just gave up and couldnโt be bothered trying any more.
