This film is a window to the New York of the 70s. It offers a glimpse into the life of addicts, how they are ready to steal and even prostitute themselves for Heroin. The pace of the movie is brilliant as it shows us the phases of addicts. You can watch the female lead shoot up and see how it effects her. Overall a good warning on the effects of heroin and drugs
