I watched this movie before the original because I didn't have a way of watching Mean Girls. At first, I saw this movie as decent, it matched my Disney mind since up to that point, I have only watched Disney Movies. Then after I watched the original movie, I immediately realized how AWFUL this movie is compared to the original. It literally looks like a dollar store version of an AMAZING movie. The acting wasn't that bad, but I wouldn't call it brilliant. Personally, I see the original as something that can be more relatable and realistic because in Mean Girls, that is how lots of girls in real high schools act, dress, and socialize with each other. Even though it is a bit dramatized for the audience. Anyway, I just feel like this movie is a total let down because it wasn't even half as good as the better, more iconic and quotable Mean Girls of 2003.
