The show has a fast paced engaging style to it that builds suspense that keeps you interested. Unfortunately, it is so determined to highlight racial themes that it borders on absurd. Almost every non POC is seen as cartoonishly villainous and the writing reads like it is being spewed out of the mouth of a racist child completely naive of reality. Obviously racism exists but to endlessly portray races as strictly evil of good gets really tired really fast. Reminds me of Christian rock in the early 2000s. High production value, fitting the profile of the main stream, but lyrically preachy and cringe
