i think that there are a lot of plots that are about the outgoing best friend dying and the other friend having to figure out their own path without them, and though it is cliche i thought this book was still so good. the development towards the end with tricia made me happy especially because i never thought she would step up as her mom. it fascinates me that ben wanted to and became his better self because of cody and their relationship had ups and downs but they pulled through including the fact that the only reason they met was because of megs obsession. cody’s obsession with bradmond worries me for a bit when she seemed to be going down a dark path but she was so brave to go and confront him. i couldn’t put it down and finished it in 2 hours.
