I like this version. I am really a bit keen on accurate versions of classic novels. Which this is not. Yet , it is very watchable. It catches the storyline well. And all the main players are good. The settings are true to the novel .Bath, Lyme Regis and the period houses.

Good story line. Good acting and comedy make it watchable. Good laugh and not unbelievable story line.

Just seen the whole series on Foxtel here in Australia. Thought it excellent. Caught the atmosphere exactly right. I used to live in the East Anglian countryside, and that was so accurately portrayed for the time. Almost another era in reality. Not like that so much now.

Very much liked this show. Story lines all good and varied. Believable characters that actually remind me of people l know. Even though I am British and slowly learning about East Asian culture from Korean shows. Very good cast.
