I only give one star because of the actors hard work that they put into this movie. However if your looking to watch Mulan don’t you dare click that movie and pay 30$. You’ll be sadly mistaken when almost every scene has been switched and jumbled. Characters you love are gone, character development is nowhere to be found. Honestly if it wasn’t affiliated with the Disney Mulan it would be a better movie. It was like the writers said let’s take every scene change it and a sprinkle of female empowerment on each scene on a film that was already about that and so much more. This Is the avatar of 2020, the captain marvel of the marvel movies, this movie is the dc franchise before Wonder Woman. What makes it worse is they tease you by showing the exact settings of the scenes from the first film but do the whole scenes completely changed. It’s like they’re saying haha gotcha you thought it was gonna be like that but it’s not lol. They even have the nerve to put the instrumental of the songs you love in the background but won’t play the songs 😂🤦🏾‍♂️.
