With a premise to lampoon Trump, "Space Force" fails utterly. Too gentle, too nice, at times painfully saccharin and whimsical. It lacks the cutting edge it so needed. Space Force as coined by Trump is a symbol of ineptitude obfuscating poison orchestrated by career obsessed sycophants. If the tyranny was played out by these innocent buffoons perhaps they'd have found some shred of conscience by now and stopped the rot. I believe it lacks objectiveness. Perhaps if a British writer, an Iannucci or Gervais, had tackled this they could have given it the teeth it so dearly deserved. We shall never know. On the positive, Malkovich always intrigues. I don't know why he's here but it relieves the pain.
