The narrator made this a slog. Her voice reminds me of the motion of a ship, up and down - up and down. Nauseating. I couldn't handle her voice and dnf it.

Devoted Lisa Kleypas fan here. However, this one has to be her crowning achievement! Nomination for Best Male and Female lead characters. And West Ravenel has a supporting role. Award for him too.
Everything about the book was perfect until the end. I am bereft. I need to see into their future, that is Garrett and Ethan.
Thanks to Lisa Kleypas I've had another short night. Can't wait for another of her amazing books!

I've lived this. Well portrayed. Lily was spot on. Ryle was really scary. Not as frightening as my ex but his face.... When he tells Lily months after the 'final incident ' that he'll get help - I hoped she would see. And she did.
Recommend highly.

The dialogue is really compelling. Loved the unusual story and the portrayal of strong characters by TLJ and Hillary Swank.. It did take a terrible turn at about 75% mark. Hated that.

Wow. Just Stupendous. I feel so many emotions having viewed this film. Timely?!!!
These men are my kids ages and even though I spent 28 years in teaching in a school deemed socioeconomically deprived, I was clueless. My students didn't have lives like the boys in this film. Expecting your life to be over by the time you reach 18? Having virtually no hope of a better life.
White America needs to see this film. Heck, we all need to see it.
So powerful.
