Naughty dog again broke the myth that exclusive games can't be great as they surpassed all the expectations of players worldwide. With a brilliant story and a tight stealthy gameplay, "the last of us" is definitely going to have a mesmerizing and lasting effect in your mind. It is definitely a must play for all PlayStation players. Positive Aspects:- The game mainly revolves around two characters Joel and Ellie. Both the characters have lost their loved ones. At starting both Joel and Ellie were unwilling to get each other's company but as time passes their relationship grows deeper and deeper. "The last of us" feels like a journey. As you play the game, a time comes when you are so connected with the characters that when they feel sad, you will also start feeling sad. The emotions of the characters gets connected to the emotions of the player and there lies the beauty of "the last of us". Very few games have the power to do this. The gameplay of "the last of us" is also as good as the story. The crafting system in the game took resource planning to a whole new level. The action parts of the game are also very tense and brilliantly designed. The way you wipe a whole military or a horde of zombies (infected, clickers and bloaters) by stealth are also very thrilling and admirable. The weather change in the game are also quite fascinating. Negative Aspects:- The only reason why I gave this game a 4/5 rating and not a 5/5 is because of its ending. The ending ,when experienced the first time felt like Joel took the wrong decision. Many of us feel like: he should have sacrificed Ellie to save the world. But after pondering a lot about the ending ,I think that the game developers were thinking to give us a moral that never to sacrifice your loved one in any case. But at the same time it was also felt that the developers of the game were trying to make "The Last of Us" a franchise or planning to make a sequel of the game and had no choice other than how the official ending went.
