Spring Hearted Tiger 62

While the pacing was clunky, I really enjoyed this story. The idea of reuniting imaginary friends with their kids was brilliant. Even though he was getting ready for heart surgery, Bea’s father managed to make the best out of the situation and have a little fun. I cried a little when Bea told her new story to her dad after his surgery. The IFs Cosmo and Guardian Dog provided some good laughs. I wasn’t too sure about Blue at first because he reminded me of Oh from Dreamworks Home, but after watching him, while obnoxious most of the time, he’s got a good heart. The twist where Cal was Bea’s IF was pretty shocking and at the same time, really cool. I give it a 8/10.

This movie was enjoyable There was a fair amount of horror in this movie, a few jump scares and brutal moments. The comedy was on point, especially from Awkwafina and Ben Schwartz. My favorite character was Rebecca Quincy (Awkwafina), she’s angry but she’s got a kind heart, though I wish she had more focus in the movie. I also enjoyed Nicholas Hoult’s story, he went from Dracula’s lackey to a hero and possibly Rebecca’s boyfriend. Teddy Lobo (Ben Schwartz) was a funny comic relief, seeing Ben play a villain was surprising, but he nailed it. Nic Cage was really putting his energy into Dracula, he really looked like he had fun. The pacing of the movie was fast, a lot of the other characters didn’t do much in the movie, the ending seemed a little confusing, but other than that, I loved this horror comedy movie.

Well, despite the fact that I've never watched the original ghostbusters, I like the all girls ghostbusters, supporting girl power and they were all funny
