I have just seen the documentary and it is best appreciated by die-hard fans of Aretha Franklin and/or gospel music. I could not honestly recommend it to anyone else. There is no story or character arc to follow - just a live recording of Aretha Franklin recording gospel songs on 2 consecutive nights and an introduction and speech by her father midway. Absolutely boring and a waste of money and time.
