The movie although lacks the tense environment and absurd humour that the original has to offer but as a standalone sequel packs a punch on its own accord. Particularly the performance of madhuri dixit and vidya balan stands out from the rest.

This movie has been directed and paced like a documentary on the life of gunjan saxena and despite all the obstacles and hurdles,she finally fulfills her dream of becoming a pilot in the Indian Air force but there are some unnecessary songs which are not needed in a biopic that is based on a true story. Plus the norm of a female cadet being shown as inferior to the male cadet is not upto the mark as both go through rigorous training regime and requires a level of discipline to accomplish that. G.K.

ONE OF THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN CINEMA.

A well crafted sports biopic on the life of murlikant petkar whose will and determination particularly exceeded his physical disabilities and brought about a much needed change in the scope of bollywood. As usual Kabir khan tells a story which befits the nuanced narrative of compelling performances and depth. G.K.

Although Sydney sweeny gives a commendable and compelling performance as a young nun who is trapped in the sort of situation that is immensely difficult to get out of as the conspiracy runs deep down into the chapel and the convent itself. After the death of sister isabelle,she grews suspicious of the whole atmosphere that encompasses the convent and then she starts to uncover some of the deepest and darkest secrets that the underbelly of the chapel has to offer. She tries her best to escape the chapel after faking injury to her abdomen where she seems to be profusely bleeding as things take a more sinister turn. And then the climax comes which will leave you awestruck as sister Cecelia escapes the clutches of the young father who was trying to perform a c-section despite being injured and then she stabs him in the neck with a holy nail. She then proceeds to give birth to a demon child then crushes him with a rock for the final touch. O!! Holy Hell. G.K.

What a personality respected scientist Mr.Nambi narayanan was,hats off to his grit and true determination to put India on the map in advancements in the field of aerospace engineering and research,despite struggling with his own personal life which is full of ups and downs and false espionage charges pressed against him to hinder the progress he made in creating an engine that can launch satellites in the outer space so that India can be in the elite league of few countries who have managed to do so... This is a testament of true scientific temper and unwavering zeal to propel Indian made rockets and make strides in the advancement of aerospace engineering and science. Such a compelling performance by each and everyone in this masterpiece of movie!! G.K.

Who can you probably trust in this cruel world? Who can save you from people who are hellbent on making your life miserable and revels in doing the unthinkable? A devout Christian who seems so religious and upright has to go through such a horrible and traumatic ordeal says something about the dark and depraved psyche of a human mind. Some scenes are very graphic and intense that can make you cringe and uncomfortable. She was born to give birth to a child who happens to be the one to save the humanity or bring in much more suffering and pain? Nell Tiger gives a spirited performance here and direction by stevenson is gripping and precise in equal measure. This one has cryptic messages of stillbirth,child infanticide,miscarriage,and also use of C-Section as and when it is convenient for the conspirators who have sinister and frightening agenda to helm. Attempt at making a seriously thrilling and captivating movie was there but this movie is marred by technical inconsistencies and plot holes too. Although the performances of the cast were good but the writing was rather weak somewhere down the line. R Madhavan as usual stole the show as the antagonist. This script needed some more work and polishing in my honest opinion. Music and BGM was good too. Nevertheless it is a decent one time watch for the commendable efforts of the whole filmmaking team. The house next door packs quite a punch on its own accord. Director milind rau does a good job as a director and keeps the story and screenplay very gripping and intense. Finally an Indian horror movie that matches up to the standard of hollywood horror flicks and the psychological tricks it employs as well to keep the audience hooked to the screen. Some movies are bound to make an impact when it comes to the execution of the subject matter and that too with precision. This movie is such an exception among the indian horror genre. A Must Watch!! The true story of Aisha chaudhary is very moving as well as inspiring and few filmmakers dare to choose a sensitive topic such as this to convey how life can be so fragile and impermanent in this physical world which is all a facade of mind vowen through our memories and emotions. I can definitely say kudos to shonali Bose and team for bringing this story which at times is soo gripping and soulful as well. I was mesmerised and heartbroken after seeing aisha struggling to take a breathe of relief as she was on oxygen cylinder. It really took some guts to convey such a compelling narrative in a simple yet taut manner. I pray for the departed soul and regards to her family as well. R.I.P. Aisha Chaudhary Regards. G.K.
