I decided to watch the movie attracted by the castle no of Fiennes. The cinematography is robust, the storytelling engaging like riding a rollercoaster, however I found the final a disappointing derailment! Just another trick to divert attention from crucially important matters in social policy and purity of faith to the defense of a deviant sexual identity as the pinnacle of complex and correct understanding of the realities of our times . Totally unconvincing for me just as “The Birdcage” was many years ago.

Well acted, well directed with exceptional imagery and beautiful music score. The story is worth telling. It is somehow slanted to the profane and feminist audience which is strange in a movie about the first American Catholic Saint

“The comedy comes from the juxtaposition of their ancient, brutal struggle for survival and the minor concerns we all obsess over nowadays.” Sadly, many of the reviewers miss the brilliant combination of today’s political correctness obsessions with the traditional values of the Vikings, that results in a surprisingly great humor! Sorry for all those who do not have the stomachs to digest it!

Impressive one person realization with fabulous screenplay writing, cinematography and free diving.
