Mighty Mishaps

So I went into this with zero expectations, well let’s be honest It was a time killer on a snow day. I was a big fan of the first wrong turn as it came out when I was a teenager, but the following movies were dumpster fires so I had honestly forgotten about the series. First off the length of the movie is great, it isn’t some hour long D movie cash grab. The story is actually pretty cool building on the lost tribe/society narrative. The acting is probably above average for a slasher flick and I even found myself clinching up for the characters. The camera work is good with some pretty cool angles being used. I’m sure the couch quarterbacks will have a ton of critiques for this movie, but at the end of the day it does exactly what every slasher/thriller does. Just turn your brain off and enjoy a movie that throws some water on the dumpster fire that the series had became.

One of my favorite shows of all time, it’s a show that I watched in my early teens and now watch with my kids. I really love how it shows Texas pride while poking fun at how cringe it is sometimes. I would absolutely love to see it come back if they could capture the same spirit of the original. Can you imagine with list of guest stars it would get? Anyways, king of the hill is in my top 5 favorite animated series list. Watch Bless the Harts if you’re a fan of KOTH, it’s quickly earning a spot on my list.

Just watch Black Mirror if your looking for a well written thriller. I’m not sure what this dumpster fire is, but it’s not The Twilight Zone.

So I watched legacy before I watched the original and had zero expectations for what was to come, but thought it looked really interesting. It has become one of my favorite movies due to the connection with the story and the beautiful world it produces. Sam Flynn who is the son of a brilliant (and missing) tech giant is teleported into the digital world his father created.Something has gone seriously wrong and it’s up to Sam to RECTIFY the situation while finding the answers he’s been seeking for so many years.I was at WDW recently and saw the Tron coaster construction, it’s going to be excellent and gives me hope for a 3rd movie. Take a break from the damn Marvel movies and give it a shot...you’ll still be paying Disney :)
