Thudarum : Continuum of the Complete Actor Though this movie can be described as a revenge thriller , it travels far beyond with the audience due to the performances it offers. The plot of the movie is something you can guess past interval, a happy go lucky taxi driver who cherishes every bit of his family life is approached by a conflict,as his taxi gets seized by the police. The revealing of each element in this story is beautifully orchestrated by the performances of Mohana Lal as Shanmugam/Benz & Prakash Varma as Geroge, the emotions are conveyed in such depths where we walk through the pain of protagonist and develop a gradual hatred towards the antagonist. Mohan lal’s performance has just left me speechless, as a loving husband, caring father ,frightened victim and an unapologetic hero.A hero is as good as his villain, on that note Thudarum delivers a new talent called Prakash Varma who rises up to the level of evil that you know must be eliminated because it is something that simply cannot be contained. Hooking you with the right emotions through an excellent story telling, the movie ends on a note that the Complete Actor shall continue his journey.

This movie worked well for ME, apart from being a bit lengthy this could easily pass for good one time watch, unlike the other Karthik Subbaraj movies I don't find much of a rewatch value for it but still it entertained ME. I've been waiting to watch Suriya directed "cut and right" on screen for a long time and l'd have to say I'm happy to finally see that on the big screen. The first half kept me well engaged, the second half tries to convey a lot of messages like purpose, slavery, laughter etc. so maybe that could've been executed in a much better manner. Overall, I feel the movie has done justice for what it has promised in its trailer, definitely there's room for coming up with something much better but what's given is also not something that needs to go through cut throat criticism as well in my opinion.

An absolute propaganda film, no one here is against accepting harsh reality but its portrayal matters. The first season of The Family Man created by Raj and DK talk also touches the topic of Muslims from Kerala being brainwashed and recruited to ISIS, being from Kerala the making of such a content based on where I'm from never created a sense of discomfort. In a country where the censor board mutes lyrics of a song from Leo which mentions about alcohol, to a movie spreading false claims about a state and collecting over 300 crores we need to understand how powerful people in power are to mislead the audience of a craft.If you want to know what actually happens in my state watch this movie called 2018, it shows THE TRUE KERALA STORY, of how we've stayed united and fought even natural calamities when they knock at our doors.But this movie despite having a much elaborate topic to work on has been spreading pure hatred towards the idea of the state, such propaganda films shouldn't be encouraged as it instills false concepts into minds of viewers willing to be engaged in visual media content.
