Only buy this game if you have a PC. It is barely worth the effort if you have a console. The game is fantastic when it works. However for you to actually have it work, you need next gen hardware or the game will go autistic, the only consoles worth playing the game on are PS5 and xbox series x, good luck getting one of those. Numerous bugs plague the landscape of the game no matter what platform you are on. Tbh most of the bugs are so funny you will be laughing at them rather then being frustrated, however if you are looking to be immersed in the game good luck because you will find as follows
-Breaking in enemy and passive NPC AI (will act stupid in literally every way possible.)
-Car physics are nonexistent
-Sometimes cars will fly out of god knows where
-Law enforcement have learned the art of dragon ball snap vanishing, and will teleport behind you at random when you have accumulated a wanted level
-If you have too many crafted items in your inventory the game will corrupt your save data
-NPCS will clip through walls and elevator doors.
-Occasionally will find a non-balanced weapon drop for your level and one shot literally everything in the game
-The player character will clip out of the map or be launched above it
-Multiple involuntary duplication glitches that will happen to you without you even doing anything
-and so much more
If you are playing on last gen the game is unplayable. The game will struggle to render even the most simplest of things. Crowds seen in gameplay trailers don't exist due to the unacceptable frame rate which can occasionally drop below an unacceptable 10 FRAMES PER SECOND. It is absolutely insulting CD project red knew about the unplayability of the last gen but knowingly avoided sending out review copies for consoles to hide it.
This is sad to say that the game has so much wrong with it since the story is so well written with likeable and unique characters. With such a creative and quite beautiful world it's truly a shame. At this point in the game's very rough life cycle, don't pick it up. the only reason it scored a 3 was because when the game does work it's absolutely fantastic. When you have a PC.
