Matthew Reese stars as Jack Stone in this film from "world famous" Matthew Reese Films. That's right. A guy starts a film company and then casts himself as the handsome, tough hero in the leading role.
Dolph Lundgren is wasted in a supporting role where he mostly mumbles and occasionally punches people. I'm sure he's embarrassed that he appeared in this disaster. It's the worst movie I've ever seen him in.
Vague and contrived plot, with terribly choreographed fight sequences. When someone takes a swing, you can often see ten inches of air between a fist and a chin yet there's a punch sound effect and the guy goes down.
Or even worse, in many of the fight scenes, you can see that no punches came close to landing yet bodies go spinning up in the air and crashing down as if they were smacked by The Hulk.
People are supposedly beating up others with pipes and batons but they obviously slow way down and pull their punches and are just going through the motions. And very poorly.
Lots of over-acting and lots more folks who can't act at all. They sound like they're just reading their lines without even trying to be believable. Very disjointed editing and the dialogue is like something a fifth-grader would write.
Simply an amazingly bad film that's hard to follow, but it's like witnessing a horrible accident....you want to look the other way, but you can't stop watching because it's so unbelievable! Yes, it's that bad.
