Yes and then no no no. The first few episodes had potential but then it melted down in to a schizophrenic mess. Sutherland is completely unbelievable as is most of the cast. Just good looking model-esque people. The acting is marginal at best, the writing is bland and cliche. An FBI agent who runs around in high heels? A supposed love interest between the CoS and the special advisor where there is zero chemistry between the actors. This show desperately wants to be the West Wing and fails. It attempts to throw in some devious character types and plot twists like a deep state "who-done-it" and just comes out mush.
