Of you love games like animal crossing and stardew valley then you will love this game. I don't play PC so clearly I couldn't buy it off steam but now since it's on the Nintendo Switch, I've dumped a lot of hours into the game. This is a indie type of game but it is well done, it's fun, art design is super cute and over all can tell a lot of love went into this game. If you are worried about not liking the game and wasting money then I suggest watching some YouTube videos on it. I personally love it because it isn't as strict as stardew valley if that makes sense. For example I feel as though time goes by way to fast in stardew valley especially your first year, you can move any building you want in littlewood which I love, there is great sarcastic humor in the game, some 4th wall breaking, its over all just as good as stardew valley but just feels a bit simpler. Some people won't play stardew valley because it is just over all can be overwhelming but littlewood is way more laid back in my opinion. Definitely a must have game if you are into sims.
