Terrific fast patter throughout. Way better than the original The Front Page. Rosalind Russell makes a better Hilde than Pat OBrien & Grant beats Adolph Monjou any day. The story makes more sense in this incarnation. But scenes in the pressroom are best. Watch for the voyeur reporter sitting on the desk watching women go upstairs so he can sneak a look up their skirts. Always something going on in the background. Billy Gilbert is hilarious. "Louie" is a riot if you "know what I mean". So many great lines throughout. Cary Grant describes Bruce as looking like Ralph Bellamy. Cary Grant refers to someone named "Archie Leach" (Grant's real name) & "Don't worry mother. This is only temporary." And it only gets better. Don't miss this one. It might be a little dated but when Grant says, "Take Hitler & stick him on the funny page", I can imagine the whole theater cheering.
