"Wildlife" is testimony that there are no such things as personal acts. Everything we do affects others including when parents selfishly make choices without thinking about how their behaviors will impact others, especially their children. Ed Oxenbould's (who plays Joe Brinson) performance portrays the pain of a son watching his parents marriage in crisis. The happy family portrait had cracked but as the final scene shows he is desperate to recapture and unite what he once knew.
