This book took me through! Cal, Row, Dylan, Dot, and Allison Once again, childhood trauma affected Row which was another character in the book that I will not spoil for you! Mr. Casablanca died from Liver failure due to his alcoholic lifestyle which caused his son to be the way he was and not being able to communicate his love and feelings to Cal. Dot was bullied growing by who was also Queen B. aka Allison, Dylan had issues, issues that would cause someone to name their baby "Gravity" - what a name! This book had so many funny names for the characters, "Little Miss Broke A" lol. Overall: This book was good, however; it really had to many chapters for no reason, the story could've been shorter and straight to the point. A few gems from the book: It's okay to forgive people who destroy our lives Hope was the cruelest form of punishment Too busy tearing other down, you never stop and work on becoming a better one yourself Here to Win, not make friends The funniest part in this book was: Who F* the Car? LOL if this didn't have me laughing. I had to reread it 3xs, LOL, like who does that?! Truly, Madly, Deeply

An amazing slow burn, this story was unpredictable and I enjoyed reading it from beginning to end. It’s amazing how we women/wives stay in toxic or unhealthy relationships for the sake of children and familiarity. It’s like she stayed too long but left at the right time. Astoria husband Jace had me ticked in this book, I mean he was a Str8 Boy! How do you favor your son from another woman over your daughters you created with your wife. I was so glad Astoria went on that trip with her girls, that’s when she met the man her soul needed and he met the woman his woman needed. Astoria got the love she deserved. 5🌟

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Movie: It Ends With Us Take Away: Break the Cycle, Break Generational Curses Let those bad repetitive cycles end with YOU 🫵🏾 The Red 🚩’s always show up, are paying attention and are you Brave enough to say No 🚫 Moving and Captivating Story This movie was so good, even an older gentleman sitting next to me thought so, with every bad experience that happened in the movie he made a grumbling sound, he was not pleased with Ryle and his behavior at all and Lilly’s outcome of those scenario’s . At the end I asked him and his wife what did they think and he said He loved it, I told him I know 😀 we both were making hissing sounds at some of those scenes. @colleenhoover and @blakelively you ladies did that! And you Rock, Colleen I saw you at the party too 🤩🤗🤭 Oh before I forget, I’m adding @brandonsklenar 👈🏾 aka Atlas fine self to my Book Boyfriends list. Yep, Showl Is 💅🏾 I’m a Romanic Girl so I love movies, and just about anything that pertains to Love. There are several triggers of S/A & D/V in this movie, so govern yourself accordingly, remember the movie is coming from the book, in case you haven’t read it. I’ve read multiple reviews concerning this movie, some which were bad and some were good. Please keep in mind that the entire book can not fit into a movie so key elements were taken from the book, this is why it’s always important to read the book as well because the book will give you more details and graphics. That’s all I’m going to say for this, so go see the dang gone movie! Oh, there were no explicit scenes either 👏🏾👏🏾 ✌🏾 until my next review 🫶🏾

First Lie Wins 🤫 @ashleyelston Rating: 4.8/5 ✨ I first saw this book being displayed by @octaviaspencer and I thought, I’ll have to check this book out, then I learned that the author was from #louisiana 🫶🏾 my home state whoohoo! First, I love when I heard Baton Rouge mentioned in the story, Happy 😁 Evie Porter and her boss Mr. Smith who she has never met but have conversations through mail delivered by mail courier he gives her a new assignment and new alias meets a new guy named Ryan, she likes him. A lot of twist and unexpected turns, within this suspenseful story. The ending I didn’t see coming, it was difficult for me to predict so with that being said, the book was a good. Recommended ⚜️

📚 Review Title: Ugly Love 💙🩵 Author: Colleen Hoover Rating: 3.5/5 ⭐️ The cover is catchy and beautiful and that’s what pulled me in. I will admit, there were times when I wasn’t listening then I started again, it didn’t keep my attention like my other books. I made myself push through this one! Do I want a love like theirs? 🤔 Remember only beautiful moments and forget about all those past hurts. Is it really hard to allow ourselves to love someone without feeling guilty over the things of our past? This book had humor, sex, heartbreak, loss, death, loneliness and at the ending was a happy one.

The Perfect Marriage

This book was so good. Romcom book! I love how Nick finally admitted all his faults, especially being a man and hearing and see how hard it is for some of them to do. He wasn’t afraid of Love either, he expressed his fear of cats, his hurt from his parents. He accepted his issues and didn’t mind sharing. Lily was a breath of fresh air, she was vulnerable as well. She believed in giving love several chances, no matter how she wanted to guard her heart, Love Wins!!!
