I think John Campbell is one of the rudest and most arrogant men I know and manages to make everything all about him. For this reason I rarely watch anything he is involved with but this morning caught the tail end of his piece on the state of our emergency housing. I agree that the taxpayer is being ripped off by a number of greedy and unscrupulous motel owners but there are two sides to every story. Television shows all, and the dirty and untidy state of the motel rooms is not the fault of the moteliers. If people choose to live like pigs that is their choice - they certainly have the time to do a bit of housework and live in a clean place - they just choose not to - and I resent the fact that I - and all taxpayers - are paying for them to live like slobs in high price accommodation, and then cry about the state of it.
