Critics will not like it but causal viewers and sonic fans will have a good time. Its a long way from being perfect but its still a fun movie. It is clear that they were trying to do the sonic franchise justice and I think they succeeded, with nods to clasic sonic music (including the intro music to Sonic Mania and Green Hill Zone) and even some of the sonic Memes such as Sanic and Gotta go Fest. I saw it with friends and we all walked out having had a good time. Its not fantastic, but its not bad either. 7 out of 10 for me.
