This game had a chance but the devs really screwed it. They've shown time and time again that they don't care about what players want. We've brought issues to them and they've said they hear us, but then instead of fixing the worst class (sorcerer) they actually MADE IT WORSE. Then to combat the difference, they decided to nerf every other class. Why? Why would they do this? There have been many complaints and yet they do all they can to make the players hate it. If you like the game, good for you. If you're on the fence on buying the game, I highly advise you not to. Buy a game where the devs actually care about what you want instead of taking what you like and making it worse just because that's how they envision the game. Everything good about the game was twisted into something even worse, making the game unplayable.

The music, cast, and concept are phenomenal. Amazing game, totally worth it.

Spoilers: They ruined the mom's character. She was badass in the first movie, second movie she forces people to do stuff for her. She will say things like you have to go find my daughter, even though the dude had no reason to. The whole movie is like this and it's just ridiculous.

Game is damn near unplayable because of how often it crashes. If the devs actually cared about optimizing this game so that it didn't crash, then it would be a decent enough game, not as a good as the first because the map is a lot smaller and the seatruck is no where near as good as the seamoth or cyclops. But as of now on the Nintendo switch, it's unplayable. Same goes with the original game as well. I got my switch the day it came out and only two games crashed on me, both this one and the original subnautica game. Stay away from this game unless you like constant game crashing and losing your save files.

Story wise, this is a great game. But until Ubisoft fixes the god awful controls, this game is only worth 1 star. The amount of times that I have died because the controls were unresponsive is ridiculous. Why do I have to press an ability at least 5 times for it to activate? This is just ridiculous. They need to spend more time perfecting the god awful mechanics of this series to actually make it playable, but knowing Ubisoft, they would rather push games out without testing just to make money quicker. If you like unresponsive controls and getting frustrated, check this game out. If you are on the edge, pass on this game. It's not worth your time.

The rating system is god awful, and so are most of the contestants. If they actually had to survive indefinitely, then very few of them would make it due to poor hunting skills. Some of the groups rely on hand outs from other groups in the form of food and then get upset when the other group decides to stop giving out their food. Worst of all were the contestants, such as Eva Rupert, believing they are an actual decent survivalist when in reality they would be forced to tap out due to lack of hand outs. Ridiculous show.
